Brittany’s Top 5 Mother Son Dance Songs

Hi! I’m Brittany. I’m the lucky individual that gets to sit down with every bride and plan out the music for the wedding (ceremony or reception) and help out when I’m needed. It’s great! I honestly love it. And the best part? I’m a DJ so I get to spend every Saturday night at a fairy tale.

And something that usually gets over looked in the fairy tale?
Parents. Every time a bride dances with her dad or a groom dances with his mom, I tear up. Honestly, every weekend! I’m such a sap.

so, without any further delay, I’d like to share with you my personal favorite mother son dances.

1. Lee Ann Womack – I Hope You Dance

I think this one is mostly sentimental. I love it ♥

2. Eric Church – Like Jesus Does

when guys listen to this when they think of their mom’s love love it.

3. Phil Collins – You’ll Be in My Heart

A nod to Disney. Who doesn’t love that??

4. Rod Stewart (or Stoney LaRue!) – Forever Young

it’s a great song on its own, and Stoney LaRue’s is slow enough to two step to!

5. Jason Matthews – That’s What Mamas Do

Moms love this. All of the moms love it!

Thanks for looking (and listening!)
